I lift my eyes... From where does my help come? My help comes from The One, maker of heaven and earth. (from Psalm 121)

Upon smelling the flowers of a tree or a shrub, it is customary to say:

Blessed are You, Eternal Source of Life,  Who creates fragrant trees.

Even the smallest act of caring for another person is like a drop of water. It will make ripples throughout the pond.  (Bryan Matteo)

Upon smelling a flower that is growing in grasses or herbs, it’s customary to say:

Blessed are You, Source of All Life, Who creates fragrant herbage.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..." (Genesis 1:1)

May the waters of Life sustain you and fill you with life as you travel Life's journey. (Rabbi Debra Smith)
